One of my favorite artists is Louise Bourgeois (I learned a lot from her, just looking at her art), and not only because she is not an art fair art / market artist (artists like #JeffKoons and #DamienHirst) but a great authentic lady that worked until she died aged 98 in 2010. Her greatest works: The Cells. (See the short video). I once saw her work's / installation / drawings (her night works when she couldn't sleep, She saw those not as artworks, not even sketches) in Berlin, and it was a great exhibition, and it is always after that as meeting old friends when I see work of her again, like the last time in Tate Modern London. She masters to work in all kinds of materials and still you will recognize it as a Bourgeois The beauty of the cells are that it is highly personal installations where only here can use materials and ready mades and making it in something so much more. Yes, I know of her spiders, interesting, but The Cells are master pieces one by one, and I don't use those 2 words easy (a master piece is decides by others, after you are a dead artist), neither did she. She was modest and working through her fears and trauma's. What also is really amazing about these Cells is that they look great and strong everywhere, as like the space around it doesn't matter, not a lot of artist can do that. Stay safe you all, stay healthy, keep being humble.
